Credibility Issues
These are mainly projects that came up with their own carbon standards, since these are mainly newly established entities that are more technologically orientated, questions will be asked on the credibility of the carbon standards that they came up with. Following existing methodologies from established carbon standards does not make these internally formulated standards credible. It can be argued that the projects that registered and issued carbon credits from these platforms usually are those that cannot comply with the strenuous requirements from established carbon standards.
