Description

The Carbon Credit Offset Token or CCRO is basically a Right to Redeem CarbonDEX NFT Offset Certificate i.e. a Right to Retire carbon credits. CCRO token holders can execute this 'Right to Retire' at any time by sending the CCRO to the specific redemption wallet. The CarbonDEX NFT Offset Certificate is backed by retirement certificate of active carbon credits purchased & retired for this purpose.

The Token name: Carbon Credit Offset Token

The Token symbol: CCRO-[series number/letters].

Since the purpose of issuing CCRO is to allow purchaser to immediately offset their carbon footprint. Purchaser of CCRO are encouraged to immediately send their CCRO to the redemption wallet.

Token Structure

Structuring of Carbon Credit Offset Tokens follow the activities below:

  1. Issuance of CCRO tokens where each token give the owner/user the right to redeem or retire 1 kg CO2e.

  2. Listing of CCRO on CarbonDEX

  3. Owner/user send CCRO to redemption wallet & iP2P Global will purchase 'active' carbon credits and immediately offset it.

  4. CarbonDEX NFT certificate will be sent to the User.
